+ There are 722,000,000 Mobile phone operators in the world. A great number of the handsets they use have cameras incorporated. Essentially these imaging-enabled handsets are more computationally powerful and more connected than many 'Multimedia' PCs were in the mid 90s - a period of time I liken to the current wave of multi/new/participatory/citizen/mobile media excitement.

My studies have focused on investigating the potential for accessible modes of collaboration using these types of handsets.
